Environment Artist

What you will do:

  • Assemble levels in Unity, adjust lighting
  • Receive models, import and customize prefabs
  • Create and improve models and textures of environment objects
  • Create environment tile textures
  • Customize post processes and color correction

We expect you to have:

  • Impressive portfolio
  • Excellent knowledge of 3D modeling packages (Maya or 3ds Max)
  • Experience in manual or automative retopology of lowpoly models using hipoly
  • Ability to create stylized textures, understanding of Texel Density
  • Experience in creating models for game engines
  • Understanding of shaders
  • Experience building scenes and tinker lighting using Unity
  • Level design basics
  • Knowledge in level designers

Will be an advantage:

  • Experience with Substance Designer and ZBrush
  • Ability to create materials using procedural means
  • Skills in sculpting organic environment objects and creating vegetation models
  • Ability to prototype shaders in Shader Forge or Amplify Shader Editor
  • Experience with current or previous-generation game engines (UDK, UE4, СryEngine, etc.)
  • Experience with World Machine, ability to create and paint landscapes
