Senior 2D Artist

2D, Art, Nizhnij Novgorod

Responsibilities:

  • developing and maintaining a project’s general visual style; conveying it to the team together with Art Director;
  • creating concept artwork for the most important game objects;
  • helping other 2D and 3D artists to overcome work- and project-related challenges;
  • cooperating with Game Designers, DevOps, and Community;
  • vetting artwork (style, concept artwork) with the management;
  • supervising external artists.

Requirements:

  • artistic taste, creativity, active imagination;
  • understanding the principles of 2D/3D graphics & GUI workflow;
  • ability to draw by hand, experience using tablets, working knowledge of Photoshop;
  • 2+ years of experience working in the game industry;
  • passion for video games;
  • ability to stay calm under pressure and to get on well with people;

UI/UX Designer

Responsibilities:

  • designing and prototyping UI for our games for all platforms;
  • the scope of your design work includes all the elements, from buttons, to windows, to menus, to icons, and so on;
  • supporting, maintaining, and improving currently existing UI designs;
  • implementing game designers’ ideas within game developers' constraints;
  • using your innovation and talent to make user experience enjoyable at al times.

Requirements:

  • a deep understanding of the principles of UI/UX design;
  • an excellent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or similar image-editing software;
  • an awareness of today’s trends and developments in UI;
  • previous game UI design experience of at least a year;
  • an ability to come up with a concept and then a solution within given limits and style;
  • knowledge of the essentials of art theory;
  • an eye for color, plasticity, compositional flow and rhythm, and the skill and technique to use them;
  • logic, creativity, and resourcefulness;
  • previous teamwork and concept art experience.

Back-end developer (C#)

Responsibilities:

  • Developing on a C# scalable server for multiplayer games.

Requirements:

  • at least 3 years programming in C# and another object-oriented language;
  • experience with asynchronous programming in C# 5.0 and/or any other (for example, Node.js, Lua);
  • experience working with network protocols at various levels (TCP, HTTP);
  • experience working with databases (NoSQL and SQL);
  • dedication to an elevated coding culture and passion for developing quality software;

  • porting C++ mobile games to Windows platforms;
  • integrating outside SDKs (for example, Facebook SDK for .NET).

Requirements:

  • at least 2 years programming in C++ and C#;
  • experience developing Windows Phone apps (at least one app in Windows Phone Store or Windows Store);
  • experience working with the GIT version control system;
