InsideMobileApps.com | Emerging top grossing iOS Apps: MLB At Bat, Comics and The Tribez

This week sees a change of pace on the top grossing iOS apps, with neither Zynga nor Rovio in the No. 1 spots. Instead, Major League Baseball’s MLB At Bat takes the top spot on the iPhone top grossing charts and ComiXology’s Comics takes No. 1 on the iPad charts. Last week’s chart topper, Angry Birds Space, slips to No. 4 on the iPhone charts and No. 2 on the iPad charts. Zynga’s Draw Something takes the No. 2 and No. 13 spots on the iPhone and iPad charts.

The most notable debut goes to Game Insight’s new game, The Tribez HD. Released on April 3, the app has climbed to the No. 23 spot on the top grossing iPad app charts in just two days. The highly polished citybuilder/farming sim is free-to-play with in-app purchases. Our full review of the game is available here.
